"The Jesus Way"

Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

When Jesus says I am the way, it has several meanings.  It means that Jesus is the only road you can travel on to reach the eternal destination of where the Father resides.

When Jesus says I am the Way, Jesus is the only way to eternity, Jesus is the only way to heaven, Jesus is the only way to Glory, Jesus is the only way to the Father, and Jesus is the only way out of all other available ways that may be present at any given time. There are no turns, there are no curves, there are no dead ends, there are no exits, there are no other ways, there are no other signs, and there are no alternate routes.

When Jesus says I am the Way, Jesus is also opposing all others ways of his time. Meaning this... The belief system of the Romans is not the way. The belief system of the Greeks is not the way. The belief system of the Gentiles is not the way. The belief system of the Jews is not the way. The belief system of the Pharisees is not the way. The belief system of the Sadducees is not the way. And the belief system of the law of Moses is not the way.

When Jesus says I am the Way, it means that the only way to the Father in heaven is the Jesus way! The only way to receive forgiveness for your sins is the Jesus way. The only way in a world that has many other ways is the Jesus way. The only way to find life after death is the Jesus way. The only way that flesh and blood can inherit the kingdom of God is the Jesus way. The only way the perishable can clothe itself with the imperishable is the Jesus way. The only way the mortal can achieve immorality is the Jesus way. And the only way Christian Way Ministries can lead God's people to the way to be saved is the Jesus way!

When Jesus says I am the way, the only way a person can get on the road called "Jesus" is belief in the one God sent. In John 6:29 Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." #Time4Truth
